GDS "Sun Tracking" solar panels are encased in a mobile housing that automatically adjusts orientation depending on the position of the sun and the latitude of the installation. The rotational motor is driven by a GPS device that automatically directs the panel perpendicular to the sun, without creating overlapping shadows. The motor is low-energy (0.4% of energy produced) and is capable of driving up to 128 panels (16 modules).
