Avionic and Marine markets have very specific and strict requirements for displays that are used in aircraft, boats, vehicles and instrumentation.
In rotary-wing aircraft for example some parameters requiring special considerations are luminance ranges, contrast ratio, viewing angles and chromaticity coordinates, while for fixed-wing aircrafts there's a demand for higher information content units capable of showing changeable graphics, color and video. GDS responds to these requests offering sunlight readable displays with G-Bond technology and high brightness backlight to enhance contrast ratio and image quality, while meeting the specifications defined by safety standards.
