GDS recognizes the impact of CO2 emissions on global warming that's why we are strongly committed to look continuously for more sustainable business practices.

To reach this target we are putting in place the following actions:

1) Introduce, where possible, renewable energy sources for our plants.

2) Promote development of green products like Photovoltaic Systems and Led Street Lighting.

3) Develop new lower carbon impact products for GDS core businesses (Displays and Printers) and find new solutions for a greater respect of environment in cooperation with our Customers and suppliers.

4) Communicate, internally and externally, in a structured way, in accordance with a Communication Plan the importance of CO2 emission reductions

5) Define reduction targets, keep track of results and report achievements on CO2 emissions and related activities in our corporate website and throughout the business stakeholder network

6) Encourage GDS employees to collaborate effectively in the plan and share their ideas about further improvements and reduction options.

We are working to achieve CO2 Performance Ladder certification, to continue our initiatives in a more effective way.
